In shades of pink & a giveaway

March 08, 2016, by Deena @Shoes to Shiraz

Last week on style perspectives 14 different bloggers showed how they style wraps or kimonos or ponchos or whatever works as outerwear for their climate.  I loved seeing the variety...also loved seeing the other participants on Instagram.  Showcase your look with #theblendedblogstyle !  Also make sure you enter our giveaway this week!

This week we're rocking the shades of pink...which had me concerned because  I don't have any pink in my closet, until I dove deeper into the confines of my chamber and remembered that rose is basically the same as pink and burgundy is really just a darker shade of rose. SO in the end, I ended up putting together a shades of rose outfit with a white blazer and cognac boots.

Someone also needs to remind me next week when we're doing our "white pants look" to not take pictures with snow in the background.  Trops bonhomme de neige pour moi.  Also- I should probably find my white pants.  ANYWAY....

You know what also is a rose ? My hair. Yup, rose gold ombré, which is basically pink so I win.

Also pink? The Michael Kors watch my kids got me for Valentine's Day.

Michael Kors Pink Watch

So in the end, I had more pink than I thought I did.  The blazer I'm wearing is from Simons and comes in a soft pink too, which is what I originally wanted. I love the white one so much (the cut is awesome and the material is super stretchy and comfy) that I may get the pink one too. Ultrasoft waffle-knit blazer from Simons.  (Go figure, what isn't from Simons in my wardrobe)

(Actually the pants and shirt aren't.  The blush top is from Joe Fresh @ Superstore and the pants are Buffalo from Costco)

14 bloggers each picked a look that defined their personal style.
The blogger featured on The Blended Blog showcases her signature style (the prompt for that day) and then the other bloggers (on their personal blogs) show how they interpret it.

Gorgeous, down to the dusting of flakes on the tips of your boots. That rose-gold ombre is so edgy but chic. And your pink. Beautiful, my beautiful, beautiful friend.
