The Blended Blog Loves #18

May 19, 2017, by Deena @Shoes to Shiraz

Hi, it's Deena from Shoes to Shiraz here.

In honour of this weekend being the weekend that 11 of our 14 Blended Bloggers are together in real life, I have picked to make my Friday Loves post as a tribute to them.  That's right, we're all in Toronto right now touring Niagara Falls, drinking wine and beer and introducing the Americans to all the wonder of Canada!
This is what I love about my now real life/blogging friends:

1) Christy from RSquared.  She is my real-life bestie and when she does a fashion post, I guarantee you will fall in love with her fun style.  She is bold and not afraid to show it.  Check out her fun recreation of a Shaeffer Told Me To outfit here.

2) Shaunacey from Simply Shaunacey.  She may be blog-breaking as she juggles two adorable young children and prepares to welcome her third. I particularly love any post she does: her voice is authentic and fun and also real, but one of my faves is her post on Nurturing Relationships when you're BUSY!  It speaks to a lot of us, but trust me, I'll be making lots of time for my friendship with Shaunacey- in fact we have a date coming up for a Blue Jays game!

3) Nicole from Nick+Nik.  I am so excited to meet her in real life; I love her style and her wit and mostly I am absolutely amazed by what she has accomplished in a year and I would love to be able to take notes from her this weekend.  Read her post on her Fitaversary here.

4) Lana from My New Happy.  Lana has been one of the biggest blessings to me in blogworld, I absolutely look up to her in her parenting skills. She needs to teach a mastery course on Motherhood.  I love when she speaks from her heart and her recent post on getting through the first year of emptyish nest is a great read here.

5) Katie from The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life is a ray of sunshine.  I only spent a couple hours with her but I wanted to stay forever.  She is so welcoming and happy and makes you feel great being around her.  You can get that fun vibe by reading her Summer Bucket List post here.

6) Whitney from Whitney à la Mode is a French Teacher and I can't wait to speak with her- I think we have a lot in common and I have really loved getting to know her over blogland.  Currently she's running a series on her recent trip to Europe- I love every minute of it.  You can read her post on Italy here.

7) Lisa from Daily Style Finds has the best outfit suggestions with her impeccable and timeless style.  I always end up wanting everything she posts.  Check out her Summer Trends for under 50$ posts here.

8) Sarah from Foxy's Domestic Side is the happiest, best dressed Californian you could ever meet.  I absolutely adore her and her endless collection of Kylie Lip kits.  Seriously so excited for our reunion this weekend.  I love everything she does, but wanted to share her Spring Beauty post because of all her awesome recommends here.

9) Alison from Puppies and Pretties has fun style and I always want to recreate what she puts together- especially this outfit: I love floral and stripes!

10) Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine is one of the most positive and supportive bloggers that I have never met and I can't wait to hug her in real life!  Her style is always spot on and she comes with so much energy and gusto.  I love her bohemian style and use of clogs in this post here.

Not coming are three equally lovely ladies that we will find a way to include in our shenanigans.

11) Carrie from A Stylish Fit is the sweetest, kindest and most caring Texan I have ever met.  She radiates love and joy and I wish to be more like her in my life.  Her style is also very fun and of course, I'm always drawn to stripes and florals and love this post here.

12) Sheila from Making the Most of Everyday almost left us but I'm glad she's still here- she brings reason and a strong voice to the group.  I love looking into her Floridian life and mostly daydreaming about the high temperatures.  This style post is my all-time fave....I love her hair in it!

13) Last but not least we have Leslie from Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After, our whimsical librarian.  I would love to meet her in real life to see how much of her written voice shines through to her personality.  I love her posts because of her unique voice and of course her style- check out her chatting about shoulders in this post.

There ya have it- some of my favourites from my blogger friends turned real life friends.  I've said it time and time again- take a risk and do something crazy, you never know what blessings may be in store. Happy Friday!
