Thanksgiving Style!: From Fancy to Fat Pants

November 22, 2017, by Katie {The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life}

Happy Thursday Ladies!  Katie here from The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life!  So excited to be back on The Blended Blog.  Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in The States, I thought I’d share my Thanksgiving style with you!  I have two looks to share. One is  more on the fancy side, the other is an “Eat all the Turkey!” look.

When I got this dress from Old Navy last year, it just screamed Fall to me!!  I think it’s the perfect, more fancy Thanksgiving look.  It’s super flowy, not restrictive and very forgiving!  It would be the perfect look for around the Thanksgiving table.

This next look was inspired by this Thanksgiving decoration I have up in my kitchen.  It makes me laugh!

Is there any better thanksgiving look than leggings? Three cheers for the elastic waistband and the pj feel!  Perfect for the nap you’ll need after eating that turkey with all the trimming!  I thought these were fun and festive.  I jazzed them up a bit with the scarf. It’s been freezing in my neck of the woods lately and I am always so chilly.  It really feels like we went straight from summer temps to Fall!!

When I first ordered these leggings (from a mom at my school who owns an online boutique!), I thought they were more brown...they're's black!  The scarf was a last minute addition that I realized went pretty perfect!  I got lots of compliments on this when I wore it.  And I really like the black and cognac combo!

What are you wearing this Thanksgiving?  I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below!  Better yet, link up and show us you fabulous this week!!

Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving...and to my friends to the north, I hope you have a grand Thursday as well!!
