Tasty Tuesday: Grilled Goodies

March 13, 2018, by Sheila DelCharco

It's Tasty Tuesday, so be sure you share your favorite food post with us by linking up! And it's March which means that Spring is here (at least it is in Florida...I know some of you guys in the north still have snow! UGH!)

Although some of you have to pack your grills away for the winter, we don't ever stop grilling here in Florida. However, these nicer temps allow us to eat outside with no bugs or humidity!

One of my favorite meats to grill is pork tenderloin. (And when I say that, I mean for my HUSBAND to grill!) My friend shared her foolproof recipe with me and now we make it several times per month! It's easy, doesn't take ANY prep, and it makes enough for leftovers to add to a salad. (Check out my favorite salad formulas HERE.)

I like to buy pork tenderloins when they are on sale and then keep them in the freezer for that "what should we have TONIGHT??" moment. Now that our family is down to three people, two tenderloins are perfect. We eat one and keep the other for lunches.

This is really more procedure than it is recipe. Here's how it's done:

Grilled Pork Tenderloins

Preheat the grill so that it reaches 350 degrees. Salt and pepper the tenderloins.

Place on the grill and grill for 6 minutes per side.

(Set your phone timer!)

Let the meat rest for 5 mins before slicing.

I like to serve it with a roasted veggie and a salad. If you have kids who like to have a sauce you could make a homemade honey mustard sauce to dip it in. (Try mixing equal parts mustard, honey, and mayo.)

Some of my other favorite grilled things are roasted peppers (recipe HERE) and grilled eggplant (recipe HERE). What are your favorite things to grill?
