Spring foods

How is it possibly our last Monday in April? Well, at least we're getting more spring like temperatures and with that brings the dreams of eating outdoors.  However, we haven't done much of that so instead I'm turning to desserts that remind me of spring for today's post.

My birthday is in April and my mom or sister always make me an amazing cake, this year was no different.  Mom recreated my Grandma's Maple Walnut Chiffon cake that she would make when the important company would come over.  It was light and fluffy and completely delightful.
