November 12, 2018, by Katie {The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life}

Happy Monday Morning All!  Katie here, from The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life. Today we're talking GRATITUDE!

Every time November rolls around we seem to remember what there is to be grateful for and thankful for.  Lately, I have been trying to be more intentional with my gratitude, finding even the littlest things in each and every day deserve my gratitude.  Today I'm sharing my gratitude... in pictures.

When I think about what I am MOST grateful for it has to be MY PEOPLE!!  My family, my support system!!  Without them I honestly don't know where I'd be.  And I realize how lucky I am.

I am grateful for my job.  I may hate getting up everyday but I love my days off and I'm grateful to be making an impact in the lives of my students everyday.  Life isn't easy and this world seems to be crumbling around us, but I'm doing my best to guide these kids, who are our future, and I've never wanted to do anything else with my life so I know this is where I'm supposed to be!  And when I see things like this, it makes my heart so happy.  This is our school wide gratitude tree...everyone in our school placed a leaf on the tree with things that they are grateful for.  I am so happy with how it came out.

A third thing I'm incredibly grateful for is my home.  Since I never really leave my three mile radius and my hibernation is going to be in full effect soon, I'm happy to be have a place to call my own, where I know I'll be safe and warm this winter.  Because I know so many other don't get this luxury, even in my own neighborhood.  I've posted about my home many times over at my own blog, go take a peek here!

What are you grateful for these days!  Link up below and let us pictures, words, poetry, etc.  SHOW US!!
