TASTY TUESDAY ~ Peanut Butter Cheesecake Delight

March 21, 2017, by Andrea Nine

Hello Sweet Friends. I am Andrea from Living On Cloud Nine and you know how I love my desserts. Not only do I have this sensational dessert recipe your whole family will love, but over at my Blog today, I am whipping up the most amazing Pineapple Trifle. How happy are we to have you linking up your yumminess today too!!

Sometimes, I just want to make something I know my family will like even if it wouldn't be my choice of dessert. Pretty smart huh, keeps me from eating it. And I say that because this had a Chocolate Oreo crust and I am not a fan of the chocolate ones (Now The Cinnamon Bun Oreos...um kinda love!) Anywho....and so just when I thought I wouldn't love this dessert, took a bite and fell pretty hard. It had me at the cheesecake and peanut buttery pudding layers!! So yummy!! The light chocolate crust is actually the perfect compliment without being overly chocolaty.

Oreos, 3 cups finely crushed
6 Tblsp butter, melted
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
3 cups Milk, plus 2 Tblsp
1 8oz tub cool whip, thawed
2 (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
1 (3.4 oz) instant cheesecake pudding
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter plus 2 Tblsp
1/3 cup powdered sugar

Mix cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom
of 13x9-inch dish. Refrigerate 10 min. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 Tbsp. milk in medium bowl with mixer until blended. Add 1-1/4 cups cool whip, mix well. Spread over crust.
Beat pudding mixes and remaining milk in separate bowl with whisk 2 min. Add peanut butter; mix well. Spread over cream cheese layer. Let stand 5 min. or until thickened. Cover with remaining cool whip and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter until it resembles course crumbles. Use as a topping. Can also use more crushed Oreos as garnish.

Tasty Tasty, Link-Up your delights Today and every Tuesday!!
